Updates on Miss Caitlin- We went for OT yesterday and got a quick evaluation to see where Caitlin was at. They said Caitlin was doing great with a lot of her motor skills and also gave us a little bit of extra tips on feeding her. We also will probably be having an appointment with a speech therapist as well. The speech therapist is great of course for language but also good for feeding as well. Also they recommended Caitlin getting a barium swallowing test to so I have to call Dr this morning and try and get the referral for that. OK so that was first appointment.
Second appointment was suppose to be for the urologist finally. Well we showed up at what we thought was our time in one office and they said that our appointment was early that day. What!!! I had talked to two different people and they both gave me the later time so go figure. Anyway in order to see the urologist that day we had to drive an extra half hour further and have our appointment 2 hours later. So we know what the traffic is like so we had to go back towards home and go get Dillon from school early in case we didn't make it back on time. OK so now we ended up having to wait about an hour and a half for our appointment because the Dr was running behind 2 hours because he had a surgery early. Yikes, what fun. Knowing we were going to have to wait that long Jesus had an appointment about 20 minutes away so I told him to go ahead and do that and just pick me up afterwords. (Jesus sprained his foot at work)Well Caitlin ended up finishing her appointment about 5:30 or so but Jesus wasn't finished with his yet so we got to wait an extra hour at our Dr's office. Now doesn't that sound like fun!!
OK now for report on our urologist appointment. I loved the Dr. He was worth the wait. He was very detailed in everything, asked if I had any questions at all, and I didn't feel rushed either even as far behind as he was. He told me all the options and and what we were going to do.

and renal Ultrasound(possibly same thing lol)It is going to show in more detail about where her kidney stones are located and how big they are and what they consist of. Depending on all of that we will decide then if we are able to do the ultrasound shock waves http://adam.about.com/reports/000081_9.htm to break them up. Also if they are dissolving though we would of course keep her on her meds and get evaluations about every 6 mos from our urologist and still probably be seen by our nephrologist every 3 mos, that way we will keep a close eye. That's about it for our appointments. Caitlin is cutting her bottom tooth now as well though!! I went to feel it because I thought I saw a baby baby sliver and yep sure enough. It also looks as though she is starting to cut through her teeth right next to her top two front teeth. It seems we waited forever for these puppy's to come out and we just might be getting them all at once. Fun Fun.

Not to much to report , Caitlin's eating has its good days and its bad days.
We finally have a Occupational Therapy consult on Monday to see whats going on with
her eating.Also we have our urology appt on Monday as well to see if we can do the
Ultra Sound waves to help break down Caitlin's Kidney Stones. I am hoping they will weigh
her at one of these appointments to. I am always curious what her weight is because of her eating. I will post as soon as I find out on Monday

Leaving messages for Caitlin
Hi everybody. I am glad you are all switching over with us!! Ok so since it is much eaiser for the comments, remember awhile ago I asked everyone to post a comment and write down a special something to Caitlin and how you know us. Can you do that again(for those who didn't get a chance to we would love to hear from you!!the yahoo was harder for comments) I love that I have already had comments. I get excited lol I know silly but I just love how many people keep up on our miracle girl!!!!Thank you everybody!!!!!
Well today's eating hasn't been to bad. This morning she only in took about an ounce but she ate a whole jar of cereal, then right now we were eating black beans and gave one to Caitlin to see what she would do and she ate about 20 of them!!! She loved them so much. Go figure lol
Then after eating the beans she sucked down a 4 ounce bottle of Pediasure!! Now thats a record for us because normally she will intake 2- 3 ounces if we are lucky. So see how she is inconsitant lol We go from gagging , puking all over the place to eating great and making us look like we make up this stuff lol But kids will do that to you lol

It's official. We are all moved over. Woooooooooooo finally. Well as I mentioned on our other blog I moved over here to be a little bit more organized, as well as I would like it to be a lot easier to receive comments from everyone. I hope you all like it.
Caitlin has been doing a little bit better with her eating. She actually took in about 3 1/2 ounces tonight before bed and had some noodles with only one gag!!!She only took in 1 ounce this morning but she did eat breakfast pretty well. Its so hard with her because she is so inconsistent with her eating. She will have super days and I think oh good we are in the clear, then she will go completely backwards and have super horrible days. Its a little frustrating. I think this is one of the most things that gets me bummed out and really can make me cry out of frustration. We have a cute video of Caitlin getting her 2 teeth brushed lol. I am going to upload some pictures of our Miss Caitlin tomorrow. Thanks for being patient.

A little update on Caitlin, she has been doing a little better with eating yesterday and today. Still only intaking 2 oz in the morning, but she ate all her cereal this morning and ate a whole jar of dinner meal and some yo baby yogurt which was amzing because that is the most she has eatin in awhile. The thing about her eating is it is so inconnsistant so she can go from being a super great eater to gagging and throwing up. Shbe has her days. She alwasy has her gag reflux but she has worst days then others. Ok so will let you know when we are offcially moved over.

We are trying to move to another blog right now. We should be over to our new home within the next couple days. Its been taking me a little while to transfer everything over there. Lots of work. Its so much fun though going through all of Caitlin's old pictures and seeing how much she has grown. Caitlin has still been gagging and throwing up here and there. We should be getting occupational therapy soon to try and help her with her feeding issues. Today has been a little bit better then the last couple days but still tough. Its hard watching her gag every time she takes a few bites. Yesterday Caitlin got a hold of a piece of Dillon's egg and right away started gagging because of the texture. Dillon saw her then he started gaging and well I had two children throwing up. Funny picture. Gross but funny Also talked to back up pediatrician since mine is on vacation and, well basically got told to deal with it and as long as she gains weight there is nothing to do. I felt like I was screaming she keeps vomiting and gaging and nothing. Great, so another thing I have to figure out. I will see what we do when our pediatrician gets back.Who knows hopefully getting her other therapy will help out a lot. I actually got her to eat a whole jar of fruit today but had to walk around with her the whole time pointing to things and kind of distracting her.
Well as soon as we move over to other website I will post some more pictures.

Update for Today - Ok so I am switching back to Zantac tomorrow, not sure if this has anything to do with Caitlin not wanting to eat or what but we will see. She has been burping so much more just out of nowhere and just not wanting to eat at all. I was able to get a jar of dinner with a little bit of fruit tonight but then when it came for bottle time, barely sticking the bottle in her mouth she gagged and then wammmmmmmm came a big vomit. So litterly everything she ate came out. It got all over her pajamma's ,my pants, the couch and the floor. Not fun to clean up at all. I have no idea whats been going on with her lately but hopefully I can get this figured out soon.

15 lb 15 oz is weigh in today. Well and yesterday. We took Dillon into the Dr because his asthma had been seeming like it was acting up really bad and comes to be that Dillon has a bit of a respiratory infection so we got him on Zithromax(love that stuff)So of course couldn't go with out asking for a quick weight check so 15 15 it is. Today was our synagis apt and it went better then last time. OK so the bummer news is Caitlin has been very naughty in the eating front. She just doesn't want to EAT!!! It is so frustrating because we all know she needs to eat. This morning she had about 2 oz and then after that wanted nothing to do with food. Tried giving her a bottle later on and still didn't want it so we got home about 12:30 or so , went to go feed her lunch, had about half a jar of a vegtable chicken dinner, gave her a taste of applesauce and wammmmm threw up her whole meal. So basically today she has had 2 oz of milk and its 1:45. Her gagging issues have seemed to be more and more lately and when she is full she will gag as well and its sometimes only 2 oz. So lots of fun!! So any tips would be great. That's about it also here is our Walk America link. Would appreciate it so much those that could sponsor, even $1.00 would be awesome!!!

Guess What!!!??? Caitlin is cutting her first tooth finally!!! Her top tooth is coming through. I always thought it would be her two bottom(my favorite)But of course Caitlin likes to do things her way. We also have switched to Prevacid instead of Zantac(for reflux,heartburn)but are debating about it because it is a little more complicated. We also switched her to whole milk because she was not to into her formula anymore.We add carnation instant breakfast and a little bit of oatmeal for some extra calories. She has been a little stinker though because she has not wanted to eat for us very well the last couple days, but as always she likes to keep us on our toes!!! Will post some pictures of her tooth once it officially pops out

Dillon got a haircut. We only wanted a trim but things didn't quite turn out as we wanted. I was really bummed about it, but I am getting used to his hair now and Dillon loooooves his hair now. He says it looks like his favorite buddy, Jordan.

Reglan again!!!!
Back on reglan. Now that was fast. Caitlin was tossing and turning last night and just crying so I figured her tummy was upset. Also she did quite a big spit up last night and she hasn't done that in awhile. So its reglan again, hopefuly maybe in a couple more months we can try again.
Forgot to post about Caitlin getting up on all fours now. Caitlin can officially crawl like a big girl!!! she looks so cute

I wasn't able to update yesterday because well quite frankly I was lazy to lol
Anyway more info about Caitlin's Kidney Reflux Test(VGUG)- We got there checked in then got to go upstairs. Daddy and Caitlin played around for a bit and Caitlin wanted to walk everywhere. They then took us In a room and had Caitlin put on a gown, it was really cute. Took a quick X-ray and then had us wait for a bit outside. Then came the yuckky part. They had to use a catheter and then shoot some kind of dye in her bladder and see if it would come out normal or flow upwards. Her test came back normal which is great. She did not like the test at all. She kicked and cried so so hard. I felt so bad but she made it and was happy again. Ok so for our Dr's Apt today it also went good!! Caitlin gained 1 lb in 2 weeks!! She was 15lb13 oz!! Much better from 14lb12 oz so yeahhhhh!! Also we are able to take her off her reglan(reflux med)I have to keep an eye on her to see if she acts much different from going off it but if she does fine then its a permanent thing.Also we are switching from Zantac to prevacid(acid reflux,heartburn med) This one we will only have to give her 1 x a day compared to the 2 x a day which will be nice. Thatss about it. We go for anothersynagiss apt in a couple more weeks which we will do another weight check and then we have her 15 mos check up in March.

Well My computer completly crashed yesterday and I had to do a whole reboot from Dell and Lost EVERYTHING!!!!!!!! I am trying to recover my pictures right now. Our Friend Darren came over today and set up something for my computer to see if we are able to recover any pictures at all. Please pray I can get them back, it is Caitlin's first whole year. I do have some pictures to an actual printing act but not everything. Looks like I am going to have to be more on top of backing things up!!!
Ok so on another note. Please Pray for Caitlin's Kidney test tomorrow. It is going to be uncomfortable for her and I am not looking foward to it at all. I will post when we get back but it might be a few more days before I can upload any more pictures.

Lots of pictures and more!!
Well not to much has been going on. Caitlin is getting a little better but still has her congection, poor girl. How ever she is finally sleeping much better and I am able to get a little extra sleep.Today was her first time having cheeto puffs and she loved them. We are still doing pediasure and we will find out the results of that next week. Thats about it. Caitlin still doing well with crawling(comando)we are trying to get her to crawl on her actual kneees though. This week her new thing is to get from a sitting position to a crawling position, very good.
