Ok so Dillon is sick (again???? you ask?? ) Dillon gets sick alot because he has asthma so when it comes cold season its almost a sure thing that he will catch almost every cold that comes across him. Look at his rosy cheeks though lol thats a sure sign he is sick also.Hopefully Caitlin won't get it but of course most likely she probably will. Dillon and Caitlin both got their flu shots yesterday and both did really well. We got a tiny cry for about a second from each one of them and then they got over it ;0)Caitlin will start getting her synagis shots(for rsv)this month and will get them once a month until rsv season is over.She also weighs 13 lb 1 oz now she is starting to slow down a bit so I am thinking she will be close to 16 lbs for her birthday or maybe just under. Caitlin is FINALLY starting to eat her solids. she was starting to not want to eat solids at all and even only wanting to intake about 2 oz at a time for feedings. You can imagine how much I really wanted to get food in her but with all that she is still gaining. The last couple days though she has been intaking about 3 oz or so per feeding sometimes a little bit more and sometimes she will do her 2 ounces and be fine.She is starting to open her mouth again for her solids over the last couple days and actually intaking almost all that I put in her bowl. It was getting frustrating because I would make her food and then she would want nothing to do with it, clamp her mouth down, throw a tantrum(oh yeah , she does that already) and she would turn away. We are getting our thereapy once a week now and we have been working on her eating as well. Things we are working on physically right now are sitting up and trying to get Caitlin to come up on her knees but so far not to interested. She is a champ at rolling over from back to front and front to back. She is actually a rooly pooly and likes to get around that way.
Can you believe she is going to be a year old in 2 more months!!!!!! 1 years old!!!!!! a whole 12 mos old!!! What a miracle she is!! We knew it though and I can soooo see how she made it through the NICU because she literly is so fiesty and hard headed, so basiclly its her way or the highway buddy . She has so much energy and full of excitment and always wanting to inhale everything around her and just take it all in. If we put her down on her feet and hold her with her hands she will actually take steps. Of course her feet are still so petite that even if she could do it on her own her feet wouldn't hold her up lol they are still only about 2 inchs long and she still barely fits into newborn shoes so that should explain it lol .
