Today Caitlin tried to breastfeed!!! She did pretty good so I will probably start trying with her everyday now. She has been really awake today finally. She has had her eyes open alot today and especialy tonight. Since her eye surgery she has pretty much had her eyes closed and just been sleeping but today was a good day. Tomorrow is her due date so she is officialy 1 day corrected tomorrow!!! she is getting so big, we just bought a home scale for really cheap so i have tried to weigh her and it looks like she is almost 5 lbs or right at. The home nurse I think comes again this week and she will weigh her in. Caitlin is doing so muhc better on her new formula that I fortifie my breast milk with. Thank goodness, its hard to have a gsssy baby, well till next time.

Yeahhhhhhhhhhhh I got to put Caitlin on the carnation good start formula!!!!!! We were using the enfa care formula(enfamil) and then went to neosure(similac)22 calories but she was so so gassy on them, I wasn't sure I would be allowed to switch because she does need the extra calories but she got so gassy from them that she was starting to not want to eat as much. I actually add the formula to my breast milk just to give extra calories. She is already starting to poop again and she has only been on the carntaion for a few hours!!!! Love that formula, loved it for Dillon and still love it now lol. Nothing else to much we have just been hanging out with Caitlin and thats about it. Today I found out that Dillon's preschool is closing in June so now i have to go find another school, nuts!!!!Well off to feed miss Caitlin

Good news, Caitlin passed her hearing testing today with flying colors!!! We were not sure whether or not she would because sometimes we wonder if she can hear us or not because with Dillon so loud sometimes and us yelling at him to don't touch the baby lol she doesn't even flinch. She sleeps through anything pretty much whihc is good cause when she gets older and brother gets on her nerves she can zone him out, dillon on the other hand won't know what to do when sister anoys him lol. The develpoment clinic person came today to do an evaulation and to get all of our info so that Caitlin will be follwed develpomently and have help if she does have any delays. pretty much that is it for now. I stopped giving Caitlin her eye cream so I think she likes that. Her eyes are starting to get much better and she is not as fussy.
